  • 1 cup Italian sausage (crumbled)
  • 2 cups butternut squash (peeled and cubed)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 1 ½ cups fresh mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • ¼ cup fresh sage leaves (chopped)
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss cubed butternut squash with 2 tablespoons olive oil, salt, and pepper; spread on a baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes until tender.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook crumbled Italian sausage until browned and cooked through.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough to desired thickness on a floured surface.
  5. Spread remaining olive oil on the dough, then layer with roasted squash, cooked sausage, mozzarella, and sage.
  6. Transfer to a baking stone or sheet; bake for 15-20 minutes until crust is golden brown.
  7. Let cool slightly before slicing and serve warm!
