Description

Easy Pizza Pasta Bake is a quick and delicious fusion of cheesy goodness and hearty pasta, perfect for busy weeknights and family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rotini or penne pasta
  • 2 cups pizza sauce
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup Italian sausage or pepperoni (optional)
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta in boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, pizza sauce, half the mozzarella, sausage/pepperoni, bell pepper, onion, oregano, and basil. Mix well.
  4. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
