- 2 cups rotini or penne pasta
- 2 cups pizza sauce
- 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup Italian sausage or pepperoni (optional)
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Cook pasta in boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, pizza sauce, half the mozzarella, sausage/pepperoni, bell pepper, onion, oregano, and basil. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and spread evenly.
- Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
