Instructions
- Activate yeast by mixing warm water with sugar and yeast; let froth for 5 minutes.
- Combine melted butter and half the flour in the yeast mixture; stir well before adding remaining flour until a soft dough forms.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area until doubled (about 1 hour).
- Punch down dough, divide into about 12 pieces, and shape each into a ball.
- Arrange rolls in a greased baking dish, cover again, and let rise until doubled (about another hour).
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
