Baked Brie with Cranberries is a delectable appetizer that combines warm, gooey cheese with tart cranberries, all wrapped in a flaky pastry crust. Perfect for holiday gatherings or cozy evenings, this dish promises to impress your guests and create unforgettable culinary memories.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 round wheel of Brie cheese (about 8 oz)
  • 1 sheet of thawed puff pastry (about 14 oz)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts, optional)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Place the Brie in the center of the pastry and spoon cranberry sauce generously over the top. If using nuts, sprinkle them over the sauce.
  4. Fold the puff pastry over the Brie, sealing it well by pinching seams together.
  5. Brush the wrapped Brie with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Allow it to cool slightly before serving.
