- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion until the meat is fully cooked and onions are translucent.
- While cooking the meat, peel and slice the potatoes uniformly.
- In a bowl, mix milk with cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Grease a baking dish and layer half of the sliced potatoes at the bottom. Top with half of the meat mixture followed by half of the cheesy mixture. Repeat these layers, finishing with cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
