Instructions

  2. Peel and slice the Russet potatoes into 1/8 inch thick rounds.

  5. In a greased baking dish, layer potato slices with salt, pepper, and optional thyme between each layer. Pour cheese sauce generously over layered potatoes.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes; then remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
