  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized dough onto the prepared sheets and press your thumb into each ball to create an indentation.
  7. Fill each thumbprint with your chosen jam generously.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are firm but centers remain soft. Cool on wire racks before serving.
