With its delightful crunch and zesty aroma, this easy-to-make recipe will have everyone asking for seconds!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • Sliced green onions (for garnish)
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by patting dry and cutting into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Set up a dredging station with flour in one bowl and beaten eggs in another. Dip each chicken piece in flour, then egg, and return to flour for double coating.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry coated chicken until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Stir until bubbling and thickened (about 5 minutes).
  5. Toss the crispy chicken in the sauce until well-coated.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles and garnish with sliced green onions.
