  • 1 bulb roasted garlic
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish with butter.
  2. Wash, peel, and thinly slice the potatoes.
  3. Roast the garlic at 400°F (200°C) for 30-40 minutes until soft, then squeeze out the cloves into a bowl.
  4. In another bowl, mix heavy cream with cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, roasted garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Layer sliced potatoes in the greased baking dish, pouring the cream mixture over each layer until all ingredients are used.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
