Description
Savor the rich flavors of a Loaded Baked Potato topped with tender steak bites, melty cheese, and crispy bacon. Perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 Large Russet Potatoes
- 1 lb Sirloin or Ribeye Steak
- 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 3 tbsp Chives or Green Onions, chopped
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack Cheese
- ½ cup Crispy Bacon Bits (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash and dry the russet potatoes thoroughly.
- Bake potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a foil-lined baking sheet for 45-60 minutes until fork-tender.
- While potatoes bake, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak pieces with salt and pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned but juicy.
- Let steak rest while preparing toppings: chop chives and grate cheese.
- Once baked potatoes are cool enough to handle, slice them open lengthwise, fluffing the insides with a fork. Add sour cream, followed by steak bites, cheese, bacon bits (if using), and finish with chives.
