Editorial Policy
Last updated: October 11, 2026
This page explains how articles on Simple Vibe Life are chosen, written and kept accurate.
What we publish
Room-by-room decor ideas, seasonal decorating and simple DIY projects. An idea makes a list when it is specific enough to copy, realistic for an ordinary home and honest about what it costs.
Who writes
Each room has an editor who is responsible for its articles. Our editors write under pen names, and their portraits are illustrative. You can read about each of them on the About page.
How an article is made
- Research. We look at what readers are searching and saving for the season, then choose ideas that work together in one room.
- Writing. The room's editor writes and edits the article. We may use software tools, including AI, to help with research, drafting and images; an editor reviews every article before it is published and is responsible for it.
- Costs. Prices are approximate and checked at the time of writing.
- Photos. We use our own images, licensed or public-domain photos, and other creators' photos only with permission and credit. Generated or digitally edited images are labeled in the caption.
What we do not do
- We do not invent statistics, studies or quotes.
- We do not describe a product as tested unless we tested it.
- We do not copy other websites' text or take their photos without permission.
- We do not sell coverage. Advertising and editorial decisions are separate.
